Nestled in nearly 60 acres of enchanting Perthshire forest, with panoramic views of the majestic Grampian mountains and the serene Tay Valley, Dalguise is truly a hidden gem. Behind the 18th-century Scottish manor house lies the sprawling Craigvinean Forest, inviting you to explore an outdoor activity paradise. Though the centre feels like a secluded haven, nearby towns offer convenient supplies and the vibrant cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow are little over an hour away. This perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility makes Dalguise a remarkable place to be.

Being nestled in unspoiled woodland, the area around Dalguise is rich with wildlife including the elusive red squirrel, pine martens and even leaping salmon… but be careful of drop bears hiding in the canopies above! Down the road you will find Dunkeld with a number of unique shops, bars, restaurants, banks and supermarket – everything you need for day-to-day life (as well as deep fried chocolate!). 18 miles away, Perth has everything you would expect from a city including cinema, bars, clubs, restaurants and shops. The local area also provides some wonderful outdoor opportunities with paddling on the river Tay, two great climbing crags just a ten minute drive away and plenty of scenic walks.
The on-centre People and Culture team keep colleagues busy with lots of social events including gaming, quizzes, parties and special interest clubs to get involved in.
Colleague facilities include: Colleague lounge with TV, DVD player, and pool table, laundry facilities, free wi-fi in communal areas and excellent personal adventure opportunities
Ben, General Manager
I started with PGL back in 2004 as a Group Leader Instructor over in France and with PGL’s support, training and belief in my abilities I was promoted through to General Manager. Dalguise is a unique centre in a stunning location in the heart of Scotland, with access to the best climbing, walking, paddling and skiing in the UK right on our door step, so there are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore.

I always wanted to work with kids and work outside... here I do both! I get to wake up to the amazing Scottish scenery, and spend the whole day laughing, singing songs and having fun with the kids, then at the end of the day I can relax and have a great time with my friends.
Jackie, People and Culture
I joined PGL in April 2023 and I've never looked back. Dalguise is a great place to work, with beautiful scenery. The people here are more like a family than colleagues, and we work together to enrich the lives of the young people who come to stay with us.

Dalguise is simply incredible for mountain biking. On the centre we have colleague-built, maintained trails on site, from red to black difficulty. Nearby have Aberfeldy Bike Park, Glentress and Glenlivet - working at Dalguise is a great opportunity to explore lots of world-class biking trails.
