This hidden gem in the heart of urban Ashford has excellent transport links – just 38 minutes on the train from London, and 2 hours from Paris – making Grosvenor Hall a fantastic base to explore local cities. There is lots to do locally too. The cinema is less than 20 minutes walk away, and there’s also escape rooms, bowling alleys and plenty of places to shop and eat.
Ashford is a beautiful place to live and work, with two National Landscapes – High Weald and Kent Downs.
Sylwia, Activity Instructor
What makes PGL special is the incredible mix of people in one place, yet everyone can find their place here. You come to help young people discover what they’re capable of, but along the way you step outside your own comfort zone, discover new strengths and learn a little more about yourself too.
Geoff, Catering Manager
What is great about working for PGL, is that the leadership team want our feedback on what is going well and maybe not so well. I cannot think of many employers who hold all of their colleagues wellbeing and opinions in such high regard.
Sean, Guest Experience Manager
As the Guest Experience Manager, I get to lead the team that is at the forefront of looking after our guests and making sure they experience a great adventure when they visit us. It amazing to think that this is what work can look like.
Dan, Facilities Assistant
PGL is incredibly supportive with colleagues and guests who have additional needs. They listened to me and understood what I needed to be able to do my job to the best of my abilities. I can see myself staying in the company for a long time.
Jay, General Manager
Grosvenor Hall is one of PGL’s newest centres. What I love about working here is being part of shaping its future. There are so many possibilities still to unlock and it genuinely feels like we’re building something exciting. It’s a place where people can develop, bring their own ideas and make a real difference. Being able to see our colleagues grow alongside the Centre is a privilege.
Harrison, Chef
I came to PGL twice as kid and absolutely loved it, and now I have an opportunity to give children the same enjoyable experience that I had. I enjoy working here as it is so rewarding seeing our guests have a great time both inside and out of mealtimes - which is the main goal for most of us working here.
