Evangeline, General Manager
I attended PGL when I was in my last year at Primary school. I absolutely loved my week away and this has shaped my career working in hospitality and the outdoor activities sector. My career started at PGL in November 2023 when I became General Manger at Bawdsey Manor. What makes working at PGL special is the team I get to work with every day. They’re passionate, and always ready to support each other. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to lead.
Megan, Retail Team Leader
I have been working at PGL for 2 years now. Every day brings something new, whether its tackling new challenges or helping a new group of guests. A highlight of the role for me is getting to see the excitement on the guests faces every time they come into the shop and being able to support the guests as for a lot of them it’s the first time, they have had their own money to spend. The environment that we get to work in is something you won’t get anywhere else. I have been able to learn so many new skills at PGL, in both retail and in a management role.
Ethan, Facilities Operative
Having this role at PGL is an experience like no other, everything from responding to emergencies to keeping the site running is an adventure, luckily, I have a fantastic team around me who always have my back. PGL always keeps me busy, and the day is never boring, my favourite part is knowing my hard work helps everyone have a great experience. Every day brings new challenges, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Julie, People & Culture Officer
I have worked for PGL since early March 2024. My role as a People and Culture Officer is the most challenging, rewarding, and diverse I have ever had. Every day is different, and the fulfilment gained from being able to support my fellow colleagues is truly amazing. I feel proud to be part of an organisation where the values are aligned to my own.
