Many children are nervous about being away from home. At PGL, we pride ourselves on making our young explorers feel as welcome as possible in a comfortable and clean environment. A good night's sleep in a freshly made bed will get them ready for another day of adventure!
Reporting to the Housekeeping, Retail and Administration Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping assistants to ensure that all common areas and customer areas are warm and welcoming, creating a fantastic first impression and making our visitors feel at home.
You will also supervise the site's retail and bar areas, providing friendly and welcoming service to our young customers, families and other visitors. You will ensure that your team keeps these areas well-stocked, organised and visually appealing, encouraging creativity in the display of shops and bars to keep them fresh and fun.
Is this you ?
You will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to help and engage with our customers, leadership skills to inspire and lead your team, and confidence and problem-solving skills to achieve your goals by providing excellent customer experiences.
We are looking for people with more than 3 months' experience in retail and/or bar work. Experience in supervising a team is an asset, but not essential for this position, as management training will be provided.
