Kathryn, Adventurer
Kathryn, our ESG manager, leads our Better Beyond Adventure strategy and is focused on delivering all of our fantastic Better Beyond Adventure projects. A big focus of her day job is collaborating with all areas of the business to integrate BBA across PGL, leaning into the expertise and enthusiasm of others to really drive our impact every single day. She loves spending time with our Ambassadors across the business to understand what impact looks like where they work and how we can all make a difference. In recent months she has been working behind the scenes to finalise our B Corp submission ensuring that our ESG polices, process and governance meet the highest environmental and social standards.
Alex, Activator
As Director of H&S and Operational Services, Alex has led teams delivering a wide range of initiatives supporting our Better Beyond Adventure work over the past two years. Recent work includes the development of an Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring PGL Beyond actively reduces fuel, waste and water consumption. This supports lower environmental impact, improves cost efficiency and aligns with our decarbonisation goals.
Tim, Ambassador
Tim is one of our key centre BBA Ambassadors and has shown real tenacity in leading fundraising at Caythorpe Court. Through his passion, the team has built a strong, lasting relationship with a local children’s disability charity. Tim and his colleagues have delivered brilliant fundraising events, including Eurovision and quiz nights, raising much-needed funds. He’s also passionate about recycling and reuse, encouraging colleagues to craft practical items from redundant activity equipment, such as doormats and dog leads.

This role is for everyone in PGL! We all have a part to play, no matter our role or location. Listening to do better is a key part of our BBA strategy and we value the thoughts and feedback of all our colleagues. They are key in challenging our thinking and shaping our longer-term vision as we strive to be Better Beyond Adventure.
