'Step Up'... as an AIGL/AIGL Team Leader

Step up as an AIGL/AIGL Team leader and you’ll get the chance to act as a Team Leader for up to 6 core colleagues, supporting them with training, monitoring and providing one to one support. We care deeply about providing high levels of customer care, you’ll therefore coordinate busy times such as arrivals and departures, and prep our group leaders, making sure they’re ready for the busy day ahead! Each role has 1 week lead time ahead of a large core colleague intake, so to allow for some key training time. This role will finish one week after the core colleague number has dropped to allow for a handover and completion of tasks.

Are you right for this role?

We’re looking for an aspiring people manager, with an empathetic and supportive nature. Someone who has demonstrated excellent customer service in their substantive role and who has been recognised for their contributions to customer care.

The right candidate will have the ability to lead a team through busy times and continue delivering results, or be able to demonstrate the potential to work towards this. Previous experience leading or supervising a team is desirable, as well as any experience delivering training, observing and giving feedback. The role will require an amount of work based at a computer, so being IT literate in a range of MS Office applications is essential.

'Step Up'... for Kids' Camps

There are several Kids’ Camp ‘Step Up’ up roles available during both Easter and May Half-term

For the below roles, you’ll need to ‘Step Up’ during both holiday periods when Kids’ Camps are running. Summer roles will be advertised after Easter.

Kids’ Camp Coordinator

You’ll support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience, assisting our Group Leaders by taking ownership of the daily routine and evening activities and welcoming our guests to the centre.

Guest Welfare Officer

You’ll support the wellbeing of our young guests, assisting the Guest Welfare Manager by managing daily welfare tasks, helping to create a safe environment for our guests to flourish.

Receptionist

As the first port of call for our guests, you’ll help us create a great customer experience, supporting the guest journey pre-arrival and assisting in operational tasks essential to the day to day running of the centre.

What training will be provided?

If successful you can expect to receive training to support the promotion into a line management role. This includes:

  • Aspire training

The programme is structured around developing people skills as key areas to grow either as a new Team Lead/Supervisor or to develop current leadership capability.

  • Health and Safety training

This will include the management and reporting of accident and incidents and Emergency Support Management or Duty Management.

  • People Management processes

Training on how to conduct probationary reviews, monthly conversations, right to work checks, and managing health and learning conditions.

  • E-learning

This will cover compliance and BCorp Requirements.

  • General awareness

Improving your knowledge in diversity and inclusion, mental health in the workplace and emotional intelligence.
